YEAR 1 / WEEK 42: BYE WEEK - for posterity!! (sharing pieces, pairing pieces, wearing pieces🤍)

Even though this was the first time since starting this challenge that I didn’t create a new piece, I felt it was important to document this, as this week was MONUMENTAL. It was the first time I got to see my designs on other people and I will never get over that experience. I can’t begin to describe the shock/glee/elation I felt when I realized that a) these pieces could fit most body types and b) they looked amazing across skin tones, but that just goes to show how much self-doubt exists!! I have some beautiful friends inside & out bc I truly never knew upcyled fabric could look so good 🥹 here’s to a new chapter of feeling newly excited to begin making things for other people!!! Xx
