YEAR 1 / WEEK 44: look at how far we’ve come!!!!!

8+ hours stitching each shirt (over 40 hrs total) made this week the hardest one I’ve ever accomplished. The thing about re-making a shirt that I made previously is that I THOUGHT it would be a piece of cake!!! It wasn’t 😂 it was humbling to remember how much effort goes into each idea, and how much stitching it took to accomplish this one tiny top. (80+ rows of stitches per piece!!) Was the carpal tunnel worth it??? YES. The accomplishment of opening my store, making my first ever sale and having my pieces live on a site where anyone who loves the art can have access to it is just so fulfilling. And above all, we raised some money for casa! What a week. Thank you to everyone who supported, gave help, time, materials, and love. I feel really grateful for the DMs and the people in my sphere. Thank you thank you thank you. You make this exploration so rewarding! Xx
